Q. I want a hunting dog that is well built and good looking - a dog that will work hard in the field for me and still have a good temperament at home with the family. Is all this possible in a puppy?
A. Yes, our breeding program produces dogs with strong drive and natural retrieving ability. Our pups make excellent family dogs.

Q. I may want to breed my dog or exhibit it in the show ring. Are your puppies show quality?
A. We use Bench Champions in our breeding program. All our dogs are bred to fall within the breed standard, have good bone and pleasing conformation. Please let us know what your plans are for your new puppy.

Q. I am concerned about certain genetic problems within the breed. Do you test for hip and eye problems in your breeding stock? Are your pups vet-checked?
A. Our breeding stock is OFA certified for hips and elbows. We also have annual eye examinations done on both the sires and dams. Our pups are sold with a full replacement health guarantee through two years of age. The pups are vet-checked before leaving for their new home. Vaccinations are given and worming is done also.

Q. I live outside North Carolina. Can my puppy be shipped to me?
A. We recommend that you come out to select your pup if at all possible. If necessary we will carefully match you with one of our pups and have it shipped to you at eight weeks of age. We will discuss the charge of shipping your pup on request.

Q. What are the prices of your puppies?
A. The price of the pup depends on (1) the breeding of a particular litter, (2) the number of show and working titles in the pedigree, (3) the purposes for which the pup will be used, and (4) the quality of the individual pup itself. Pricing details will be discussed during a preliminary phone conversation prior to receipt of a deposit.
